We scored the first goal and it was Sam's first goal of the Season. Alfie got injured and the Yellows scored a goal back. The game went to extra time, no goals were scored so penalties. The yellows went first and it went wide, Chloe took our first penalty and scored. The yellows went again and Sean made a great save. Ollie took our next penalty and scored. the Yellows took their last penalty and Sean made another brilliant save. Jordan took our last penalty and scored to put Hayden Black through to the next round. It ended 3-0 on penalties

We played Footscray Lions Black in the second round of the Bexley Cup, we only had 7 players so no substitutes. In the first half we went down by 2 goals. |

In the second half Sean made some great saves and Alfie defended well to keep us in the game. |
Joseph played the game as our striker and worked hard all game but luck did not go his way, a clear penalty was not given by the ref, a ball from another match hit his foot when clear through on goal. Joseph deserved his man of the match. |

Joseph got fouled from behind in the penalty box and went down infured. |
|
The ref gave a penalty, Chloe took the penalty and the keeper saved it. We got a goal back and Ollie scored it. |
|
Chloe took a corner and clipped the inside of the far post. Finn bossed the midfield taking on players, winning the ball and trying to make the pass, Sam worked hard out on the wing. Near the end of the match Sean came out of his goal and went up for a corner and luckily Sean got back in his goal in time. Man of the match Joseph |

Joseph played in defence and did some brilliant tackles. Jack worked hard in midfieled and defence. Alfie was solid in defence and made some excellent tackles. Sam played midfield and defence and had a super game. Sean made some superb saves |

We played against top of the Bexley B League VCD Athletic. Alfie scored our first goal that he hit from outside the box and lobbed the keeper - superb strike to lead the game !! That was Alfie's first goal of the season. |

We took off and started uphill, in the first half a free kick was awarded. Jordan took the free kick and scored in the top left hand corner for his first goal of the season. |

At half time is was 1-0 to us and we continued to play good football, Finn scored our second goal. |

Finn took a shot at goal which was going wide and then Chloe hit the ball on a volley to score |
|
Throughout the game Jack made some superb crosses which Liam got onto and scored our fourth goal. |
|
Well done to Sean and the defence for keeping a clean sheet.

Great performance against Southmere on Sunday. We were ahead at half time thanks to a stunning free kick from Jordan which flew in the top corner from 25 yards. Second half we started playing some excellent football. Finn ran the show from midfield with powerful running and he, Olli and Jack produced some defence splitting passes. The third goal was a joy to watch, Chloe picked up the ball on halfway and slipped a pass to Finn, she continued her run into the box as Finn found Liam who then passed to Chloe to volley home a well deserved strike from close range. Sam, Joseph and Alfie ran their socks off to ensure victory would be ours. Well done to Liam, he kept his head up and battled away and was rewarded in the end as Jack slipped him in for his goal well done to Sean also for a couple of fine saves in the first half to ensure his first clean sheet this season. On Sunday 13th January 2008 Hayden Black beat Darent River Black 4-0 in the second game of 2008. The game started well with Hayden Black with most of the possesion and dominating the midfield. |

Hayden were on the break with a lovely pass from Ollie to see Liam take the ball round Darents' keeper and place the ball in the back of the net 1-0. Hayden put in some fantastic challenges and managed to hit Darent on the break again with Joe running down the line, then striking the ball firmly into the bottom corner 2-0. Half time approached and Hayden kept it a clean sheet at half time. |

Second half began with a Hayden Black kick off. Darent attacked a few times but Sean kept every shot out net. Hayden started to wake up again and with in a few minutes Finn was off on a run, hitting one home making it 3-0. Not long to go now and Finn scored another great goal to make it 4-0. Hayden shut up shop and kept another fine clean sheet. |

We played our away fixture to Hayden Yellow. My goal was not allowed but I am still being paid for it. It also happened last year, I took a corner against hayden yellow and it went in but the ref said it was'nt a goal. Today Jordan scored a blinding long range effort that went through the keepers legs. Alfie also scored a goal from outside the box. Thats both our defenders scoring. Next match is against Hayden Yellow again. |

Today we were supposed to take on undefeated and potential league winners Samuel Montagu Fire. Unfortunately they did not show up at our ground to play the match. So we (well some of us due to the hail & rain) took the opportunity to cheer on the Yellows. |

Today was our last game of the Season against Southmere JFC Purple. What an improved team Southmere are from our last meeting and hope they stay in this League. Joeseph's goal was within the first 2 minutes. Finns first goal came back from the centre, he kicked it and it lobbed the keeper. Finns secend goal was from outside of the area. Sean pulled off some excellent saves and Chloe cleared off the line to finsih with a win for the end of the season. |
